Dr. Ames completed his residency in urological surgery in June 2026 at CAMC in Charleston, WV.
He currently practices general urology, with a focus on endourology, oncology, and minimally invasive surgery.
His interests include, but are not limited to, general urology, BPH, enlarged prostate, elevated PSA, kidney stones, prostate cancer, bladder cancer, kidney cancer, erectile dysfunction, incontinence, overactive bladder, bladder dysfunction, low testosterone, vasectomy, and urinary tract infections.
He plans to offer minimally invasive robotic surgery to treat various urological conditions.
He looks forward to serving the patients of southern West Virginia and helping them navigate their urological needs.
